As ever Chris you have made some beautiful work which will be much appreciated by those who come to your lunch
Thanks Caroline, I've decided to remove the buttons as per Sue's suggestion. I was a bit hesitant when putting them on and they just sit better without the buttons. Love Chris
So beautiful, Chris.........very classy!
Thanks Vicki, I've got a couple more to do and will do another of Martine's designs. Love Chris
Love your Biscornus. Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching
Lovely...did you hand stitch them together or by machine?
Beautiful. I prefer them without buttons.
Lovely, Chris. I admire the themes and beautiful projects you come up with every year.
Seeing them I'd love to design a few more, but then I have to test them of course and my box of pincushions has so many in them already ...
Thanks for the compliment Martine. Yours are my favourite of all time! Love Chris
Wow they all look lovely...great job Chris :)
Does it have to be a cross stitch design for biscornu or its just preferred so that its not dense?
You can use any design that has interesting corners, filled, redwork, not just cross stitch. Have a look at http://youembroidery.com/19432_fu... It is a 3-colour line art one I posted in YouEmbroidery. I posted a few different ones there as well.
Hi Fatima, no as Martine has said, they don't have to be done in Cross-stitch. I've done some others in line-work too. Any equilateral design would work just as well. Love Chris
Thanks a lot all you lovely ladies :)
Will try and find the best suitable design from my stash for a biscornu!
Fantasic I love the button choice you have on the uppers.
They are all beautiful, Chris! My favourite is Martine's design.
Hugs, Lidia
Yes, mine too. It so well digitised. I was really disappointed by the lower one on the Brother machine (which is underneath). The Husqvarna sewed it out much better! Love Chris
