Gorgeous white on black. Can't wait to see finished product.,
You are right - the white on black is soooo striking! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!! I will have to check out the pattern and maybe add it to my 'to do' list!
Anything that Martine (mops) digitises is always fabulous. Have a go, it's great fun. Love Chris
Beautiful job by both of you! I love cross stitch on the machine...it is mesmerizing to watch it stitch...
Real classic style - hope you will show the finished project too!
Thanks for showing - Maria
Yes it looks like a very good stitch out, I have never tried x stitch , I just may have to ! Beautiful
Gorgeous - looking forward to seeing it finished!
Wow these look great Chris :) the design is very pretty....has stitched out so well and to top it all up its black and white :) haha!
Thanks for putting both hoops along with the machine names for all to compare but I cant say any difference between them :)
What size it it Chris? I had to google 'biscornu' as I didnt know what it was....lol!
Thanks Fatima. Thought you'd like the black and white! There is no difference at all in the designs, both were made in the 4x4inch (100x100mm) hoop. The Husqvarna one on the right was done with a shinier thread than the one in the Brother hoop. Once I put the two pieces together it will be come a Pin cushion. Love Chris
Fabulous work Chris. It is mesmerizing watching cross stitch stitch out isn't it. Long time since I did any. This looks beautiful, great design well stitched. Hugs Marg
Thanks Marg. Yes, it's fascinating watching the crosses being sewed out. This design is stunning and so well digitised no jump threads - just the beginning and the end to cut! It's perfect! Love Chris
Love that design! Well done, Martine and Chris.
Hugs, Lidia
They look so elegant and classy in black and white. I did mine on a reddish brown and that too had a strong contrast with the white embroidery thread.
I am regularly amazed at the beauty of those cross-stitch designs given how fast they can be digitised, so much faster than "normal" embroidery designs, filled or line-art. I always loved doing them by hand in cross stitch and still make them up as I go as knitting patterns. It almost feels like cheating that you can digitise them so fast and I often do one between normal digitising as a quick treat.
Thanks to you Martine this design is just perfect. I only had to cut four threads from the back. They stitched out without a hitch. Love Chris
Chris Just as beautiful as your bags,. I too have both machines working on overdrive. Trying to do FSL things that i can put together when i am in Vic with Mum. Cant show as some are for Julies (nonna57sdaughter1) baby shower in a few weeks, Will have a show and tell then :))
Ta Pauline, I hope all is going well with Julie's pregnancy. also prayers for you and your mum. Hope to catch up with you in April after Easter. Love Chris
Embroidery garden is Reen's site. You bought it at mygardened.com Yorikos site
Yes, they are from Yoriko's site, thought people knew that Martine digitised things for her site. Sorry for the confusion. Love Chris
(The website is listed in my post under the picture)
OHHHHH I love the contrast of white on black..beautiful job!
They both look fantastic Chris! I haven't stitched this yet, but it is on my "to-do" list.
