I wonder what type of wheels these computer chairs need for grass & grey sand?

Went out for a couple of hours this morning & this is what was set up on the footpath in front of our house when we came back. Couldn't get into our double driveway ,the vans rear was in the way ,the garbos left the bins in the drive way too ,after he emptied them.I suppose it was slightly better than a few weeks ago when he managed to get the bin underneath the truck in front of the rear wheels after he emptied it.
A day later this man sat on the metal box swinging his feet against it for about 45mins from when noticed him ( about 6ft tall late teens or twenties )Husband told him he shouldn't be sitting on it & was told he didn't F.... care.We have never seen him before, he probably doesn't live in the street rather suspicious we think. Now husband has gone to get a security camera he saw this morning.

This is disgusting! No way would I put up with it...have you called the company who employs them and complained? I would be mad a #*^&!
Hope they finish SOON! OR, Maybe a nice sweet pitcher of iced tea and sweetly asking them to not block your drive. Hugs, Joyce

They did take away the branch that they broke off ,when it got caught in the digger which was on the back of their truck, when we asked without any hesitation.

I would have told them to move their van as I am not parking on the street. Your driveway shouldn't be blocked at anytime unless it is an emergency vehicle.

No one seems to park their cars in garages or driveways now days except us senior citizens.Caravans are now making an appearance on footpaths too

I think a chair mat is a necessity! Match the wheels to that. LOL

Looking for any shade they can find, perhaps. Surely soon they will be gone/Lillian

I think they chose the best house on the street to set up their temporary office. I do hope they will be able to finish quickly and move on.

There are few of these grevillias or silky oaks on the footpath in the street.

Hi Judy,
These guys look like our telecommunications guys who work under cover when it's hot. There are a lot of them around at the moment as they are all doing the National Broad Band. (Fixing all the underground telephone wires etc). Love Chris

No they would never catch anyone because the street is about 150m long with a T junction at either end too short to bother about speeding . They are installing NBN (national broadband network )& have been at it for over a week, hopefully this is the end of it.There is a large metal box behind the camillia on the bottom left of the photo which houses all the connections & the computers set it all up.

Guess they are doing their job and if it's NBN-well, be glad they are doing it-without it in this day and age-people get ugly if it's not working properly-patience is called for I guess
