Does anyone remember where that little bunny rabbit that folds into itself is from? I think it looks like an Easter Egg, but when you open it up a Rabbit is inside. I seem to remember seeing one on here recently. Love Chris

Thanks gals, I might try this on my Brother Quattro, as sometimes the Husqvarna Designer 1 has troubles with needles breaking through heavy thicknesses. It will depend on what fabric I use I suppose. I see Marg used minky and I'm not sure whether the other one is white cotton or felt. Anyway, I'll try them out on Thursday. I have Ophelie and Delphi tomorrow and don't like to sew too much when they are here as they like to play and do other things! Love Chris

I used a fairly thin bamboo terry on the smaller one.

I made the monster design for my granddaughters for Valentines Day. My machine also struggled with the layers, breaking thread often. I goofed and sewed thru part of the ears on the large (I think it was 8x12) one and did not realize this until I had trimmed off part of them before turning, which removed the tips of the ears. So they had to be refashioned on the sewing machine. I learned my lesson and used thinner fabric on the smaller one (5x7). I do need to investigate how I can stop the machine from returning to the center when it is done embroidering. It is so thick with the ears tucked inside that the needle catches the fabric and has the potential to rip the design out of the stabilizer when returning to the center. I had added a bit of stuffing to the ears, which the design did not call for, so I created this problem by doing so.

Oops, I should have said wings, not ears!

I did not mean to discourage anyone to stitch it. It just was not for me. I hope to see many of these bunnies successfully stitched

Thanks Raelene I'll give it a go. Love Chris

I think she will.

Thanks Shirley, I have lots of cotton so I'll have a look at that first. I think there is some Minky in my stash, but not sure what colour. I'll have a look later, love Chris

It's the one I just made. There are lots of new critters.

Oh! Bev, I just actually commented on your little rabbit. I didn't realise that was the one that is an egg and turns into a rabbit. You said it was difficult! I'm almost wary of attempting it. Thanks for answering so fast. Love Chris

Thanks Pauline, I've just purchased it and another one too. Gotta run off to the hairdressers with Mum. Love Chris

It just has so many layers my needle did not want to go through, it was when attaching the arms and there were still 2 more layers to add. But then I see others who are zipping through these by the dozens. My machine just did not like it
