Have been baking and preparing a breakfast "snack" for my study group tomorrow. My banana nut cake did not bake properly, so my son and I sat and ate banana crumble before I started over. Second try I made muffins and they were successful. I think I've lost the touch - ten years since I gave over my kitchen to my sweet hubby.

Oh, dear. I can imagine we would be starving if I "gave over my kitchen to my sweet hubby"! Banana Nut Cake Crumbles...umm, you may be on to something big here! I like the comment from pldc about warming them and topping ice cream with them! Yummy!

sounds like hubby can make you a new batch, but the crumble sounds lovely warmed & on top of ice cream! ~hugs~

I am testing out the new way to cook, adding cans of food together. Cool whip can make anything a dessert. Lol!

I just love crumble!! I used to make wedding cakes and slice of the hump to make them level. Loves those crumbles!! Suzanne

I bet the banana crumble was delicious too. I think you just needed a trial recipe to find the touch again.
