Help Please ! I normally use a Brother Innovis 4000 which is in for repair and a friend has let me use her Brother 1200, I am not by far a very experienced user of these machines but do try. I am trying to make a flannel with a name on it and for the life of me I don't know how to add the name on before embroidering with this machine. is it even at all possible ? any help will be appreciated xx

I believe the Ellure from Babylock is the similar machine to the Brother 1200. If that is so -- then you must add all that you want to the design on a computer. It does not have the option to add designs on-screen to existing (open) designs. It can edit for size etc.
You can use software and combine designs prior to sending it to the machine or you could stitch one design in the lower area of the hoop and then stitch the name design in the upper area if you do not have software that allows you to combine designs.
