I also have a brother Innovis-1500 But like others said. Check which dealers are close to you 'cos sooner or later you will need them. Also check the possibilities (now and for futher) You might do want a big hoop possibility or might not.. I guess all machines are ok, it just depends what you expect of them. good luck in looking

I have the brother pr600, and love it xx
but I do not use any of the pre built designs or gadgets on it,
love the six needles but I just wanted the large embroidery area as well xx

I have a HAPPY machine, single head with 12 needles. It's easy-peezy to do caps and so far I have managed to embroider everything and anything on it. Love it to bits 😃

I have a Janome MB4. I love it, but it not a good machine to do ballcaps on. I do separate designs for ballcaps, and my daughter heat presses them on. Other than that it is a great machine,

Brother is excellent, but you need to try out several and consider who services which brand in your area. And which features are most important to you. For example, I thought I wanted a six needle, but found what I most wanted was a hoop large enough to do 6 x 10 designs. You can get that in a single needle machine now. $5,000 to $6,000 versus $13,000 and up!

thank you for helping me. I do want to keep the price down if I can. Daughter-in-law want to use it to do the letters and names on pocket- books, shirts and hats. Making a little money.
