I am a very tidy person so imagine my surprise when looking for something the other day I found this. It is a travelling iron that belonged to my mother and I had forgotten all about it. It has been invaluable in making the applique pumpkins for the Halloween bags. It irons easily in a 4x4 hoop.

Hmmmm wise I had kept that one I gave to the Good will several yrs. ago.. I thought," we're never going to do much traveling anymore and anywhere we usually stay an iron and board is usually available". that's what I get for thinking LOL/Lillian

Lucky rediscovery! I have one I bought some 40 years ago and I agree it is ideal for appliques and other small ironing jobs.

It will certainly be used time and again for applique work

Very handy!! I was wanting to get something like that, those little mini irons are so small, and not cheap either. It's nice to have something from our loved ones too.

I actually cannot remember my mother ever using it. It has a sweet little zip bag as well.

It made doing your pumpkins a piece of cake - perhaps a piece of pumpkin!!!

I remember my mother had one. It had a different look, but the handle folded down to pack.

This iron also slips into the handle. The amazing thing is that not only does it work but works well, the thermostat works perfectly.
