I got two kittens in three weeks ago . They were hours from death. They were so weak they could not even pick thier heads up. Parker had one eye ruptured and the other eye almost as bad. Sadie had two eyes that were infected badly. I infused them to get them going.

The vet wanted to take Parkers eye out. I asked if I could use a med called Remend as I have had success in the past healing the eyes with bad ulcers. The doctor trusted me and gave it a chance even though he had never heard of Remend.
Parker and Sadie went to the vets yesterday and Parkers eye is healed!! and he has partial vision in that eye. Sadie is doing well too. The doctor was blown away with the results and ordered the med for his practice.
I am so happy for them I could dance. They now have a chance at a great life when I get them adopted.

Wow what a wonderful remedy. Is it an organic med or a RX? There is a lady in our neighborhood who takes the unclaimed cats & has them spayed or neutered. So glad there are folks like her and you that help our fur friends. Bless you.

The med is prescription but it works wonders quickly. They also sell it for wounds. I also do trap neuter and release for feral (wild) cats. They get fixed get, their shots, after care then back to where they came from. If they are friendly in the least little bit I will work with them to tame them and adopt them out. I take in sick and injured, pregnant moms, abandoned pets etc.... I work with them all. Right now I have 26 cats I am working with. Suzanne

Someone called the animal control as the kittens were is a ball not moving in their yard. She brought them to me They were hours away from death. I did my thing and now they are bouncing around , fat and happy. Their eyes and infections are under control. I saved their eyes and they play like normal kittens. They are about 8 weeks old now. I got them at 4-5 weeks old. They still need some care and meds but they are out of the woods. Yeah! Suzanne

How wonderful. Years ago, my DD worked at an animal shelter and brought home a tiny kitten with eye problems to foster. Since she was still in school, I got to do 2 different eye meds all day while she was not home. Tabitha ended up finding her forever home with DD, and lived for 14 years.
On a tangent, her hubby-who we had not met yet-got himself a German Shepherd puppy who was born on the same day that Tabitha was. We all thought that was rather amazing.

Thanks. There are many out there who do this also. Kudos to them also. Yes my kittens ans cats get lots of love and care. When they go to their new homes they are happy, healthy, very loving, and placid. I have gotten many compliments from people who have adopted my cats and how I raise these guys. Suzanne

Thanks for the compliment. The meds are made by Bayer now. Bayer brought the formular form Verbyss. If you google Bayer Remend it has a video on how this med works,. It is a God send, You can see the eye heal before you eyes every day. I have had a lot of success with this. I have healed ruptured eyes Ulcers can clear in a week , Good luck with you baby! Suzanne

I wished I knew this before but I won't forget it, i'll note the name and put in little Joes vet file, he has been going there a lot but we fight on, he has had the meningitis for 2 and a half years and there have been times he has had to have 17 med in a day, he still takes pain, preds gabapentin, but Joe plays and he is such a good guy and wants to be here, so here we are.

Maybe you need to work for the VET or him for you! I'm like you, what did it hurt to try, if he was going to loose the eye anyway. So glad you were able to save it.
