Wow what a wonderful remedy. Is it an organic med or a RX? There is a lady in our neighborhood who takes the unclaimed cats & has them spayed or neutered. So glad there are folks like her and you that help our fur friends. Bless you.
The med is prescription but it works wonders quickly. They also sell it for wounds. I also do trap neuter and release for feral (wild) cats. They get fixed get, their shots, after care then back to where they came from. If they are friendly in the least little bit I will work with them to tame them and adopt them out. I take in sick and injured, pregnant moms, abandoned pets etc.... I work with them all. Right now I have 26 cats I am working with. Suzanne
What a great victory for your knowledge, patience, care and love. This is super.
Thank you! I do a lot of research when something stumps me. I have come across all sorts of problems with these little ones and the bigger ones. So far I have managed to heal many. Suzanne
Thank you for such good info. I have been educated.
Love this site because you really learn many, many great things.
You're a angel for such a rescue of animals. Bless you.
Purrrrfectly lovely of you. You know they won't want to leave you as you are their heroine. :-)
Thank you! When they go to their forever home I will be sad and happy to see them go. Sad they leave and happy they have a home to call their own. I know another will come along that needs my help. Suzanne
thank you dear animal friend. Prayers to you and all how take care of our little friends
That is so great Suzanne. I am so happy for you and the kitties. Keep up the great work!
Oh, Suzanne.....let's all dance for this wonderful outcome!!!! How did you come upon these 2? How old do you think they are? Your success is a true inspiration!!
Someone called the animal control as the kittens were is a ball not moving in their yard. She brought them to me They were hours away from death. I did my thing and now they are bouncing around , fat and happy. Their eyes and infections are under control. I saved their eyes and they play like normal kittens. They are about 8 weeks old now. I got them at 4-5 weeks old. They still need some care and meds but they are out of the woods. Yeah! Suzanne
How wonderful. Years ago, my DD worked at an animal shelter and brought home a tiny kitten with eye problems to foster. Since she was still in school, I got to do 2 different eye meds all day while she was not home. Tabitha ended up finding her forever home with DD, and lived for 14 years.
On a tangent, her hubby-who we had not met yet-got himself a German Shepherd puppy who was born on the same day that Tabitha was. We all thought that was rather amazing.

How wonderful! That is the goal here to find then happy homes so they are not on the streets suffering. Good job! Suzanne
Aren't you just the angel! Your kittens are the luckiest creatures around.
Thanks. There are many out there who do this also. Kudos to them also. Yes my kittens ans cats get lots of love and care. When they go to their new homes they are happy, healthy, very loving, and placid. I have gotten many compliments from people who have adopted my cats and how I raise these guys. Suzanne
good to know about this medicine, my oldest dog child has meningitis and I don't know if there is a connections has eye problems, he has had ulceration in his eye and after four week is o.k. now has nogles on one eye lid that is being treated, so I will keep this information in my mind I did Google it and it sounds like good stuff. as another animal person thank you for being so good to the little guys, hugs Toni lee
Thanks for the compliment. The meds are made by Bayer now. Bayer brought the formular form Verbyss. If you google Bayer Remend it has a video on how this med works,. It is a God send, You can see the eye heal before you eyes every day. I have had a lot of success with this. I have healed ruptured eyes Ulcers can clear in a week , Good luck with you baby! Suzanne
I wished I knew this before but I won't forget it, i'll note the name and put in little Joes vet file, he has been going there a lot but we fight on, he has had the meningitis for 2 and a half years and there have been times he has had to have 17 med in a day, he still takes pain, preds gabapentin, but Joe plays and he is such a good guy and wants to be here, so here we are.
God bless you Suzanne for looking out for our furry friends. You deserve a medal for all that you do for your family, friends and animals. Love Chris
Thanks so much. It is a labor of love. It is a challange to save them and when you do and they get a happy life it is all worth it all. Suzanne
Maybe you need to work for the VET or him for you! I'm like you, what did it hurt to try, if he was going to loose the eye anyway. So glad you were able to save it.
what a rough start. but it sounds like they have got themselves a great new mom.
