Wanted to show how I used that sheet (in Rowenta post), or what you can do with fabrics, that maybe you don't really care for. I used this dotted fabric to make a sandwich, along with my main fabric and batting, for me to do my quilting. If you look at the tote finished, it doesn't show, so you can use anything 'ugly'.-lol- I used this, instead of my sheet , on all my pcs I quilted, since I had enough of this. I used my sheet in my inside lining of the bag. You don't see the dotted fabric now, do you? A good way to use leftover pcs, that aren't big enough to make a large project, and they don't have to match since they don't show using them in the quilting. I know most of you that sew already do this, but I was just letting our 'newer sewers' know.....For the 'older sewers', Please don't judge me too hard about my quilting here. My hands did not want to work right for me. If I didn't love this craft so much, I think sometimes I would quit altogether. I hope I have helped someone today-Toogie

Thank you, but I think on my next one, I will add an applique to the front center panel, before I put it together. It seems like its lacking ...something.

Me too... or anything else. I guess that is why I have, and people give me, fabrics. They won't go to waste.

You are very welcome. I can't see getting rid of fabric, just because you don't like it, when it can come into very good use, for projects like this.-Toogie

I love your lesson on using up what you call ugly fabric. None of us are ever too old or too experienced to appreciate a good idea. I promise your quilting is better than mine.

LOL-You are so generous,Karen. This was actually a very thin, slippery fabric, that I knew I wouldn't use. It was given to me some time ago (remember my post with all the fabric on my dresser, from the elderly quilter?) I just needed something under my batting, and this worked well.
