Seeing the many jars of jam that are being made by fellow Cuties I went round to a friends and picked 6lb of blackberries. So now I will make blackberry and apple pie and some jam. One happy husband

I freeze some blackberries. When grands come and have breakfast I use some with a little sugar and heat them up to use over pancakes etc instead of syrup.

Good for you. One year I made blackberry jam from berries that we picked at a farm. It was a yearly outing with the kids.They liked it so much I had to do it yearly for the next 30 years and I am still at it. Have fun.
