Been studying my new version of digitizing software tonight, till I am bug-eyed. Thought I'd come find some good news. So many new things to learn and new fonts, etc., new screen look, that I am overwhelmed.

Coming here is like coming in the back door and calling out "Hello the House!" I especially love looking at all the baby pics and clothes!

I love it! "Hello the House", sounds just like a southern girl. Here good friends, pop in the back door and that is what you here/Lillian

Think I stole it from the British. I'm very interested in their use of language, so I really enjoy the British and Aussie friends here. Americans tend to be less articulate, or at least less careful with language!

I only have my editor and trying to figure how to use most of it's features is enough to send me cross eyed..

The new version of Floriani Total Control-U.

I love the Floriani Total Control and just got the U installed. Love the many new fonts in it. I think I will take a few lessons for it as it does have a lot of new things that I am not familiar. I think it will be an awesome upgrade.

New versions of software can be a challenge, be it windows8 or embroidery sw, like the change in my case from 5D to 6D. There usually are new features worth having but it is sometimes hard to believe the new interface is really more consumer friendly. The manual should tell you all. I usually have them (6D premium has a complete library of manuals - 8 booklets in all) on my nightstand and read one after the other at first, now I only have a look when I the inbuilt help function does not provide an answer. But I must say I often use 5D for some things and not the newer version. Go figure!
I hope you figure it out soon. It is really disappointing when the improved version seems too troublesome!
