27028I've got a neighbor that raises blueberries, actually my son n laws sister, so we have plenty of blueberries without a lot of work. I put them in my oatmeal, cereal, pies, smoothies and just like to eat them by the handful. Are the wild ones very sweet? Glad you guys don't have to worry about poison ivy or poison oak. Around here you get in the woods or anywhere not cultivated and that's what you run into. then itch, itch itch.

234253My blueberry farmer here says freeze them unwashed on cooky sheets, then pour into bags. Only wash as you are about the eat! My favorite ways to eat them: out of hand; with milk and a bit of sugar; with cottage cheese and bananas or strawberries for a summer salad plate. Enjoy!
