Carolyn you are just the sweetest thing ever.
She must be thrilled about the house, and you were sweet to run home and sew for her.
Don't know the girls history whether she was in foster care at some stage but I am betting she was so proud of her achievement in buying her own home. And knowing what a caring loving person you are you would be excited for her as much as you would be for your own kids.
We don't realise how tough some kids have it and when they do well don't always have someone to praise them for working hard to improve themselves.
She won't be looking for any mistakes in your gift as it is one of love.
It looks great Carolyn! You are always busy sewing for others, you do very little for yourself!
You are something else, always giving or doing for others! Great job and I like the Y too. Hugs, Suzanna
I like the Y as it is, this makes the towel special.
hugs Bärbel
This looks terrific & I agree don't mention the "Y" she will never know! ~hugs~
Sometimes a "mistake" adds character to a design. I think you were lucky that the needle broke as this makes the design interesting instead of predictable. Well done!
You rock! You have a heart as big as the world. Your gifts will certainly help to make that house her home.
Carolyn, you truly bring tears to my eyes, you are such a kind, loving and generous soul. All I can say is I'm so privileged to be your friend and God Bless you/Lillian
You do such a beautiful job Carolyn! She will love this! Hugs, Yoriko
What a very kind gift! I think the embroidery on there will be very special to her; there is no need for her to know that you think it is a blooper. To her, it will be perfect!
So cute, Carolyn....she will be surprised and love it!
I like it very much. The y don't look ugly it gave it a nice touch. I would not have thought thing of it if you had not said something.
It still looks good and no one would have noticed if you didn't bring it to our attention, just looks funky...lol
Love the firework fabric, I think you need to let me in on where you shop or take me along to teach. The name is rustic or primitive as they say. No one will know but you, what I've always been told. Cute design. :-)
