Question

I remember I was stark naked, dripping wet and just getting my towel in the communal ladies' dressing room at a pool in a nearby city when i was asked if I was the lady who, etc. by someone I came to know as An Hemel (=heaven).

Martine you definitely win the question of the most unusual places to be asked to do some embroidery

I must lead a very boring life as I have only been asked by friends........

I draw the line at sewing in the toilet as it is far too cramped in there for comfort. LOL!!!

Actually I did get asked while I was in hospital after my mastectomies.
this too is pretty sick! hehehehe!

Sorry, I am boring. I was asked by a nurse while in the medical clinic to make arm bands for an upcoming event.

Okay, your lives are weirder than mine. Thanks for the giggle. I've had a lot of strange conversations in funeral homes, but embroidery never came up.

I can't beat that and am still giggling, but i have been asked to make and embroider a cloth to go over a coffin. Had to call a funeral home to ask for measurements.

Me too...very weird! It was definitely not something I was thinking about at the time.
I have also been asked at the Chiropractor office -- while I was being adjusted. LOL
