Dear Cuties, It has been incredibly busy in the middle of all our grieving and also our euphoria over Ben's passing. There is no doubt our Ben is in Heaven, and he will not outlive us and for that we are grateful! We are being supported in ways you cannot imagine. We have had love from friends, visits, phone calls, cards, emails, Facebook messages, gifts, prayers, just overflowing. There will be two Colorado celebrations: one in GL in June, one in Denver in July. We are flying back to Indiana for a family burial next Sat and Celebration of Ben's life following that at the church where I grew up, where Ben has also been. It's going to have Elmo and Kermit balloons, and we will eat cake first, because Ben always hated to wait for the cake. Please eat cake on Saturday for Ben, and maybe some mac and cheese or green bean casserole. And remember that Ben had Jesus in his Heart. Love, Jan

Jan, I hope you won't mind if I share with Cuties the beautiful photostitch design Sue Dewsbury digitised for Ben's quilt and, with Sue's permission, I was honoured to add the cross and text for you.

We should all be so lucky to find the contentment and peace in life that your Ben found.
That he had such amazing parents, who loved him and gave him the most important gift of a quality of life, is the miracle here.
God bless. Meg

Dear Jan, I have never been into community, just been very grateful for your little freebies. I want you to know I feel your pain so much, my eldest died at 39 and my second boy at 9 months in my arms, all I can say is, that time does not heal the pain, but it does lesson it, one day you will find that he will be tucked away in a little gold box in a corner of your heart and you will not cry as much as you did in the begining, when you take him out and dust him down, with your memories.
Know that I am with you at this time in thought and sending healing thoughts in your direction.

So beautiful. I just never thought he would actually choke to where we couldn't save him. It was just all too traumatic with the attempt to save him. My heart feels like it is broken. Thanks
