We are home!! My husbands tests and visit with the hematologist went very well. The Dr. found nothing of any great importance. On the good side he said that he can definitely say what my husband does NOT have. (cancer, tumors etc. ) They still do not know what has caused the fevers but feel that it is not anything major.

PHEW! He will need blood tests yearly and another x-ray, but that is it. ( I hope )
We were able to spend the evening with our niece and her partner, discussed wedding plans, and it was all good. The next morning it had started to snow so we hit the road early and drove home most of the way in a snow storm! Once we got to the other side of the Rocky Mts. we were good! Yay! Home is great!

Good news and thanksgiving for the test completed thus far.Is he still having fever?

Thank you Toogie for your concern. He has had a few episodes since the new year, but it was more like flue and much milder. The fever was not as high ( max 103 degrees) and without the severe chills. Still not good, but he feels that he has licked this thing. ( fingers are crossed)
How about you? Have you had any more fever episodes?

What brilliant news Nadyne, I'm so pleased to read that your husband's tests went so well. So glad you arrived home safely too. Snow! you guys over in the northern hemisphere have had so much of it! Love Chris

It has been a wicked winter season but we have not had it as bad as the eastern provinces. Today we had 20 degrees C and sunshine! Thank you for your concern.
