Hi,

I love creating things. This is a water colour painting made by me, photo copied and decoupaged onto a thin wooden surface to place under cutlery. I guess you can call it a wooden table mat!

The wood was painted black before I decoupaged the painting onto it. And I used a gold craft pen (boy, but are they expensive!) to frame the boat.

Thank you.

It is easy, just get water colour paper, brushes and paint, and pretend you embroider, but with paint! You can have a lot of fun that way.

Both my Mother (is) and Grandmother from my father's side (was) very talented in different areas. It seemed as if they passed the creative stuff on to me... Lucky me!

But I come from a family where artistic stuff is seen to be a waste of time, even as a hobby. You can do much better things with your time... They don't know what they miss!
