Jrob posted the link to the bald headed eagle nest that many of us have watched with interest. I am now finding it difficult to get on with life after this information was passed on to me about ospreys. So it looks like I will be busy for a while watching this nest and not embroidering

We have Ospreys here where I live...they like to nest in inconvenient spots...LOL Usually on the big multi-light poles at the local High Schools Football field. There are two I drive by when I drive down the Island on top of really massive power poles. The nests are HUGE sometimes I see the babies poking their heads over the edge when I drive by. Last Fall the power company had to knock down one of the nests to work on the pole. But the Ospreys built an even bigger nest late last winter. So all is well with the babies this year.

I am watching at 8:40A.M. (my time) 1:42 local time and an operator is moving the camera and did a really close up view of the female. Extraordinary!

Ah, such fun! I'm watching the eagles, the blue bird Cam from the Berry College website and NOW I will add the ospreys. I can let my machine run and while I babysit her I have something to look at.

I love it!
Can't you embroider and watch at the same time? Mono-colour designs would be best in that case :)

I think Caroline is just concerned that the noise from her machine may disturb the birds...........................

Dennis should you follow the link it sounds as if trains are passing by. These birds are not at the bottom of my garden
