I've got a pair like this too & thought I had lost them...they were in another bag's pocket. I thought it was a bear too & hubby pointed out that it says cat on them...lol
If they work for the jump stitches great, I haven't anything that I like exceptionally well for that task. these are cute scissors. Dennis must be passed out on the floor of his man cave since he hasn't commented on this post. LOL
These are precious!! I saw a new pair on a webinar today . There were by Fiskars and were called Amplify Razor Edge. They come in 3 sizes and are for cutting heavy and hard to deal with fabrics. Does anyone know of these and how they work? I looked at prices and "All Stitch" appears to have the best price so far that I have found. Need your input! Kay
I see the 8 inch on ebay is on sale $15.00 with free shipping. Check for bigger sizes and the price goes up slightly. Now I want some
cuties...that's ok any excuse is better than none I recon....
all my kitchen scissors have wandered away to other projects......................soooooooooooooo! i'm goin shoppppping! i'm goin shopppppping! and sew on, sincerely, lynne
I remember when my children were at home - I could never find any scissors!!
Oh, these are so cute - Mr. D. has opened a can of worms (or should I say a can of scissors!!) Hugs to you and your scissor stash! Laura*
I also have a black pair of these in what else....the cat design....someone very special sent them to me........I did have to buy another pair of curved snips (the squeezer type) as all mine have dulled and I don't know if they can be sharpened?
I so nearly bought the black ones but decided on the pink/ blue. Love them.
There is more than one brand of the squeezer scissors. I call them circle scissors, because they circle back around. One brand I have is serrated, the other is not. Both can be sharpened, but of course you loss that nice serration. These are my "go to" scissors. Sharpen with the finer (duller, smoother) side of an emery board, always going the same direction to the end of the blade. About 5 or 6 strokes on the cutting edges and one or two on the back side of the blade just to catch any little nicks. Be happy.
I have these and yes they are cats. I got 4 pairs-different colors for $5.00 plus shipping,They have bears and bunnies and others . They make a great inexpensive gift for fellow sewers.Order from sewforless in the USA
I think that Mr. D will definitely need a pair of these...
those are really CUTE! added bonus when they also snip well. Mr. D might need to get a pair of these too :) **Flowers to all**
Perfect ( or should I say Purrfect) colors for Spring! They are very cute and they look like they will snip well too.
Thank you 'R'. I also think that it is a cat but other Cuties see it as a bear. It does have the word cat but I think that may be the make!!
Any excuse is a good one if you like something and want it. Hugs
How cute! I hope you get many years of use with them. And they won't run away as my missing scissors seem to have done.
Thank you Karen. I will be surprised if they last very long as they were very cheap but they 'snip' beautifully!!
I have a weakness if I see a new one I have to buy it got a lot.
