It happens every now & then. I have had mail go for a nice long journey with the postal stamps to show it. One time my quarterly bus ticket request slip and cheque took 2 months to get to the bus ticket sales place. (we are talking 10 or 11 yrs ago) I gave a girlfriend at work a cheque so that she could get her quarterly ticket as she didn't have a cheque account (that is checking account for the US folk). She paid me the money. Anyway, her ticket turned up and mine was still missing. Rang the fellow who does the processing and he didn't have my ticket request, so sent another one off in the mail to him asap as my old quarterly was about to expire. A couple of weeks later he rang me up to tell me that it had arrived. He then sent it to me. It was covered in postal cancelling stamps. Guess it went into a few wrong sacks. Why didn't I get the holiday?!?!
I ordered something from Texas and it ended in Florida. I called the store I bought it from and told her they didn't ask me to go along. It would have been nice to get away from the snow in MN. for a while. I just looked out the window and it is snowing again. Spring will be here soon I hope.
My Girl Scout leader sent her neighbor across the street a Congrats on Your New baby card. When it arrived, her neighbor came over with the card and asked whey she sent it. It took 19 years to get across the street. Everyone had a good laugh, especially "the baby".
Oh my! What a same that the first one got lost and took so long to arrive. And now you have to pay to send it back. I call that adding insult to injury.
She did tell me I could keep it ,if it turned up but I have no use for it .It is $23 worth of goods & I might want to buy something else off her at a later date.
She'll probably get it in 2 days! lol I've been waiting several weeks for an envelope that was mailed from about an hour away from me and still hasn't gotten here! Sometimes they take the scenic route but 3 months is crazy!

I can understand it it ends up in the wrong bag & takes an extra week to get here
