I have received a newsletter featuring a cornhole bag but I still have no idea what it is used for even after reading the instructions for the project.Could someone please tell me what it is used for?

It is used for an outdoor game. The name of the game is Cornhole. It is an odd name!
I think it could be used in many different ways. I may replace some worn beanbags used in our Toss Across game (like Tic Tac Toe only very large and you toss beanbags

Is it a heatbag? You know the ones like rice is put in and you place it in the microwave to heat up and use it on sore parts of the body. Love Chris

That's another thought! It could be. I think you have to use the seed corn you get at the coop

I thought it was some type of bag that you put in the microwave to cook corn but in the insturctions you fill it with corn & then sew up the opening.

There's an outdoor game called cornhole. A wooden board thing with a hole in it, you toss bags filled with corn & get points...I think. Sorta like bean bags. Seems to be a popular game around the area. May google it & get more info.
