I think I may have to get me another rolling cart with drawers. The daughter of the elderly lady, gave me more fabric.I am glad, I got my sister into sewing/piecing quilts.Remember the gray piece,I made the BBQ apron out of,and that sis didn't want? Well, that dark green piece, at the bottom right, is thick like that for those kind of aprons.I will be making some more....Just thought I'd throw this last photo in.I am cutting up more jeans.I have heard of someone getting hung up at work, but SOMEONE really did ! My son-in-law!-lol

Very nice stash, Toogie, it just keeps coming in!!! Lucky you! You will be a very busy girl I think and your sister too. My son had given me a pair of his old favorite jeans in too bad a shape for repair and I finally gave them a toss. I think it broke his heart. lol! I do save old jeans for projects however or to use for patching them

great stash of fabric-lucky you! As for the jeans-that is a super easy fix-and it can be an almost invisible mend that'll last a long time ~linda~

Luck certainly came your way with such a lovely lot of fabrics. But I agree with the jeans, very dangerous and should be put to use somewhere-else. A friend of mine once got caught in a 'three point linkage', got her clothes ripped off, finished up in hospital with cuts down to the bone. All because of a torn sleeve dangling!!!!

How is she now? -This lady must have an endless supply, because she gives to the church too,for the prayer quilts.

the lady is lucky to be alive, but fortunately made a complete recovery.(not so sure about her mental status)

I have done lots of these. Put a piece of jean fabric under it and zigzag it. Adds extended life to an otherwise good pair of jeans.
