wonderful people like you get blessings from the Lord in different shapes and forms!!!*****
Very nice stash, Toogie, it just keeps coming in!!! Lucky you! You will be a very busy girl I think and your sister too. My son had given me a pair of his old favorite jeans in too bad a shape for repair and I finally gave them a toss. I think it broke his heart. lol! I do save old jeans for projects however or to use for patching them
great stash of fabric-lucky you! As for the jeans-that is a super easy fix-and it can be an almost invisible mend that'll last a long time ~linda~
Luck certainly came your way with such a lovely lot of fabrics. But I agree with the jeans, very dangerous and should be put to use somewhere-else. A friend of mine once got caught in a 'three point linkage', got her clothes ripped off, finished up in hospital with cuts down to the bone. All because of a torn sleeve dangling!!!!
How is she now? -This lady must have an endless supply, because she gives to the church too,for the prayer quilts.
the lady is lucky to be alive, but fortunately made a complete recovery.(not so sure about her mental status)
Oh my! You have lot of gorgeous fabrics to play with and jeans that can be used for all sorts of things. I see lots of fun projects in your future. I hope you are feeling better.
I have done lots of these. Put a piece of jean fabric under it and zigzag it. Adds extended life to an otherwise good pair of jeans.
What a great friend to have you are blessed .i would zig zag the ripe with same color under it or close to the same color lol have fun:):)
I thought about it,but it is so close to the pocket,it's not woth the needle breakage or the fight-Talk about 'a blow out"-lol
My husband it bad to tear jeans I have all of them will do something with them pretty soon. you sure hit the jack pot what a nice way to be remembered.
