The Aussies were thoroughly trounced. I hope they buck up and give us a good game to watch and hope for next time. I love it when the Aussies win, of course, but mostly I wish for a decent game for both sides to fight right to the end. It must be very demoralising to play a sort of non-game such as this last one. I felt badly for the England team when they were out here and my admiration for Captain Cook grew as each day passed.
