I was asked to come up with an inexpensive idea for our ladies night workshop. I chose to do a table centerpiece "top hat". I did not invent the idea, I saw something similar on the net. (Just love the net) Everyone went home with their own creation. I used a charger, and a coffee can, sprayed them both black. Made the arrangement using my glue gun and added a bow. It took us 45 minutes. Lots of fun.

Dirt cheap to make.

Very impressive for low cost. Would be cute all around a big room full of tables, especially if there were some variation from table to table. Reminds me of my former church in Texas, which had a closet (a long hallway with shelves) with about 15 table centerpieces, 48 of each one. It was a super resource. You could just slightly redo something done before! Or add a new bit to it.

I love hats. Lilylin suggested the same idea for wedding decoration. Can you imagine a his and hers all beautifully done in the wedding colours? Of course they would have to be much, much nicer than this one.

Save those coffee cans. This charger was a plastic charger I bought at the dollar store.

That's right. Everyone project turned out different and beautiful. Even our most senior lady (92 yrs old) did a terrific job. For some, using the glue gun was their first time.
