Crochet Potholder

In the 70s, my mother-in-law taught me how to make these potholders. She did not have a name for it. So I looked up "wiggly" pot holder on the net. And there they were. While watching Downton Abbey this week, I made these. They are one of my favorites to make.
Here is a youtube link. For those of you who wants to make them, just search "wiggly pot holder" as I don't know how to add a link to this message. Maybe someone can tell me how. Is it ok to link to youtube?

Love these. Love YouTube, too. You can learn just about anything on YouTube can't you.

You are so right cj2sew. Maybe that's why most of my life I did not attempt to be crafty (I did not have a teacher in my pocket ) but with teachers on youtube right at your door step, it is heaven.

I think a baby blanket done in soft wool would be astonishing. Once you get the hang of the stitch, you are off to the races. Your blanket will be done in no time.

And you crochet to, is there any craft you don't do lol, your link did not come through. You need to click on the word link, add it and then click on add link, that should work. I don't know about youtube for projects but it does work in community format.

I much prefer to crochet than knit. My beautiful mother-in-law, use to say: If you knit you will "knit and wrip, knit and wrip". How she was right.
