I just loved reading all of the responses to my love of collecting designs and the great designs they have this week at Embroidery Library. I must have over 3,000 of their designs and some in multiple sizes. Unfortunately, my handsome hubby knows how many designs I have in total, not just from EL, and he can't understand why I have so many. But thanks to you I now have great ammunition if he questions my need of designs. After all, he has a 1971 Mustang that he spends much more money on than I do in designs. And I agree that my designs and stitching them out is so much cheaper and much more fun than traditional therapy. It is so good to have my Cute friends to share all my fun.

Karen you provides all of us with a great read from your question. Apart from the initial outlay of the embroidery machine the running costs are cheaper than a round of golf, a meal out, round of drinks in the pub and so on. Your husband probably buys stuff for his Mustang that makes you question in (your mind) 'does he need that?'
I love seeing the new designs and yes there are trends and design styles change over the years. Happy sewing girl

We all have wants, sometimes we have to have some of them. He has his toys and we have ours and we're all one big happy family. :)

Cough..........cough! Any ammunition provided by me was only practice grade. Every man has to have a man-cave............and if you have a man-cave then you have to have something whorthwhile to put in it, and I couldn't think of many things better than providing home for a Mustang.

A quilt shop owner once told me that no one questions if you collect something like Hummel figurines or Longaberger baskets. Why should collecting beautiful fabrics be any different? Smart lady (and she made a good sale that day)!
