At least you now have an answer to what the problem is and can decide when you are ready how to handle it - two hands to work with again at least ... sorry your hurting ... will a hug help ? x0x0x0x0 Glenda
ouch i know what that feels like
love the deep purple it goes nicely with that claret color.
Very colourful ,hope it isn't very sore.It looks like your doctor must have gone to the same school as my husbands previous GP.His inside arm turned extremely colourful over a large area after the GP took blood & stayed like that for about 10 days.
Looks like you will have to have the operation if you want to get back to be able to everything pain free again.Had to have a benign tumour out of my hand & the only pain I had with 13 sts,was when I stuck my arm up in the air so I could it through the armhole of the top I was putting on.Let out an awful scream which even startled me.Before the op I was dropping things & the was went right up the arm
ouch. at least it is your favorite colour..
Hugs pam.
Dear Carolyn, I'm sorry you are going through this, I hope you get better soon. Thoughts and prayers for you. Love and hugs, Yoriko
I have to agree it does sound like carpal tunnel. I had the surgery for it and now I'm fine. We seem to have things that are the same or similar. Hope you are feeling better. Arlene
are you sure that what you have it is not carpal tunnel syndrome? it sound like it...hope you feel better soon, hugs, blessings and prayers for you!!!!
nope not that only 2% or mild in that area ,its a thickening on my wrist from over use i can't spell the name lol
I have had the surgery for a pinched nerve in my elbow. It was done by a sports medicine surgeon, and it was the easiest surgery ever! I had my arm in a splint for a few weeks. Very little pain--only mild pain the first day or so. I didn't even have to have any physical therapy afterwards! The cost wasn't too much either. I highly recommend it.
I have the same thing in my arm, i have been having accupunture and it is working can do alot more with my hand before it gets to the point of screaming.. I also have foam tubes that is placed around things like a fork so i can at least feed myself when things get bad..
Theirs no one here in my bush that does that and i would half to travel 3 hours one way to get there so nope i can't do that but thank-you hugs
When they got through you should have punched them with your good arm! That's wicked. Hope it helps a lot.
..and because she does not sleep and spends hours every day stitching with more than one machine. I have worried about the smoke coming off the machines...LOL
Carloyn, you do lovely work! You do LOTS of lovely work!
Golly, that looks terrible, I have had shots in my wrist and never had a bruise at all, and that looks like the wrong place for the shot, it should maybe had been closer to a little hollow where the wrist beens..Sorry thats the nurse in me...many years. hope it stops hurting soon....
That looks really deep. I hope the shots work for you a long time. I have nerve pain and it is the worst pain there is. If he gives you exercise's do them, if he doesn't - find some, I have to do mine to ward off pain.
Carolyn our little Canadian stitcher! Please take care, hope you heal really fast, you don't seem to rest ever!!
I have got a lot of those shots in my elbow. I feel your pain.
Ouch, you sure you went to the doctors and not the butchers???????
It doesn't look good . i'll be praying that you'll feel better and the shot will ease the pain... but you need to slow down too Ms, Carolyn.
Ouch Ouch and Ouch. Not nice. Mabey as Dennis said ., Dr needs a sharper needle.. Rest up let it heal. "(
Promise you will take it easy now, it still needs time to feel better! hugs
It does look painful - but your wrist is BEAUTIFUL without the cast!
Ouch! I have gotten similar shots and know how painful it can be. Be careful. I know you don't want to be in a cast again, but maybe if you have the surgery, you will not have to be casted again.
Wow Carolyn! That looks extremely sore. Not that you need telling but you should keep an eye on that over the coming days just to make sure that no infection has set in. You might tell your doc about the benefits of regularly changing needles in machine embroidery in the hopes that he gets the message and uses a sharp needle for your next cortisone injection.
I had lots of pain in my thumbs, I was in the Vitamin Shoppe one day and they said try taking Magnesium Oxide, so I did.. I will try anything almost... well it worked and the pain is gone and now I take them every other day.. Maintains Healthy bones and teeth and we are all short of magnesium .. the ones I take are 400 mg... and no shots or bracing
I am taking Mag Ox also the 400 and it is also helping me my hands are feeling loads better I just started taking a month ago.
This is so true! Magnesium is vital and we do not get enough in our food now.
I get those shots in my wrists and elbows and I haven;t had bruises like that. I am scheduled for mine on Thur AM, So sad for you, as deep as that is bruised, I'm sure it hurts! Am Praying for healing for both of us! Hugs, Judy
au, that looks really painful...hope it does not hurt too much. Hugs for you.
That looks pretty sore. After working with several people having wrist pain they broke down and got the surgery and wished they had been brave and had it done sooner. Their pain was gone and afterwards wondered why they put it off for so long. Hugs.
how often are these shots? Looks painful to me but you are one tough cookie.
