Wonderful to see all look healthy and happy... thanks for sharing the photos
Thank you for sharing with us these lovely moments of these pretty birds!
I am so thankful for the time I'm given to watch the birds come and go. Of course we don't have Kookaburras, but I have lovely blue birds who nest in my back yard that I can watch and in my front yard, too.
Isn't nature marvelous...now if humans did the same thing, the world might be in a better place...
This is amazing that you got two batches of eggs this year. Like your commentary about how encouraging the parents and extended family is to get them out of the nest. Have they been noisy and do they wake you in the morning?
Hi Anita, Oh! boy do they wake us up. They start singing about 4.30am! By the time it's 6.00 it's bright and all the birds are singing. Love Chris
Lovely pictures Chris. The ones around here were making so much noise this morning I am sure there must be another nest up in the bush somewhere. The magpies joined in with their singing as well. Shirley
I just love hearing the Magpies they always remind me my childhood. I hope your Kookaburras are doing well, love Chris
What a wonderful story and pictures. Wouldn't the pictures be wonderful in a children's story.
I love all these kookaburra pictures. Keep them coming. We have 3 baby kookaburras. The baby is now bigger than the mother or father bird. Always hungry
I'm afraid these will be the last ones for now. The Kookaburras won't be back till the Spring time around September here in Newcastle, love Chris
