Caroline I want to share with you and the other wonderful people here what happened today.
This morning started out very foggy and with a 15 mile journey ro the crematorium it was heavy going,But we made it in time.
the crematorium at Reditch is very modern and has a huge picture window that gives a view across fields, woods and then the hills beyond but we could only just see the start of a field through the mist.
I stood and gave the Blessing for my loved one and thanked him for all his love and devotion and care he had given me over the last 26 years, I raised my hands in thanks and then suddenly as i did the sun cut through the mist and the rays shone on the coffin and we could see the fields and the woods.
It was a truly magical moment and showed me that the darkness was now past and the light would shine once more.
My husband has gone on a journey without me but I know that one day i will turn a corner and see him waiting for me as i have seen him do so several times in the past.
Thank you for listening to me babble on the other night and if the offer still stands and the Bambi is ok then i will be up to you around the 23rd of April for that girly weekend with Sue.
Bless you all and Blessed be.

PS The giggling pin started to work today so the nut behind the wheel will be driving along the roads soon
ask Sue.
Annie, what a truly wonderful thing to have happen, the sun shining through for you and Stan just at that moment. Showing you he is well and whole, and will be enjoying all your future moments of sunshine with you in the Bambi? Oh, Blessed be, indeed, I am so glad for you! Hope in the midst of sorrow, beginnings in endings. Wish you could drive that Bambi over here to the States...Hugs, Marji
