The pin cushion is in hole for the stylus pen for screen. I use my finger nail much easier. The wooden spindle you see is one of thread holders I made. I got piece plywood cut shape with my jigsaw and dowel rods I drilled holes big enough for them to go in glued them in holes the small drill hole to put wire I bent with my pliers. I made one for other machine with scrap wood and piece of cut 2x2 drilled hole to put piece of coat hanger I bent in. Bought one of those plastic stands and I like my home mades better.

173580I added my others so you can see my beginning collection. lol. I made the wheelborrow from popscicle sticks, The large rounded girl one was gave to me at Christmas time. The Owl was design Mops had about year ago close to Christmas time. The Elephant is vintage from Great Grand the tape measure still comes out where tail is. So now my five adding the blossom.

I love the little Owl pin, so cute..wish I had been around at that time....I only have a couple pins and need to find the time to make more..I have a cute teddy in plaid that I love and made years ago too...I see a plaid one in the pic..cute........

I made little owl Mops had up into a pin cushion and a larger one I like a snow owl to watch over my Christmas presents when GKs come around.

I put the stylius pen in tool box I use my finger as more gentle to my screen at least I hope so. So thought of that idea when Susan showed hers. There is always pin need close even when going taking with me somewhere and I am game for even traveling ideas.

I was told not to use your finger...skin oil. BUT how about your finger nail?? Dealer said you didn't want to get too many smudges on the screen. Just a thought.

That is what I use my finger nail if I used finger it would be harder hit and I baby my machine. I wipe it off daily with dry cloth and he don't like any lint in bobbin area so I go and clean that about ever 3 projects before he yells at me. Hope I get many years out of this one.

I have five now and the little plastic boxes of pins but recently thinking it could grow may have to add a little shelf for them to grow on there is so many cute pin cushions out there. I have vintage elephant from GGM, and one gave to me and three I have made in past couple years. Just may have to make another one or ???
