New Year resolutions anyone? A couple of suggestions -

1. I will make an extra effort to play an active part in all areas of the Cute Community to make it an even better place to be.
2. I will stitch out some of the designs I have downloaded and post the results in Projects.

My new years resolutions is not to be such a perfectionist and not to be so judgmental - I need to relax a bit more. I have decided to advertise in our local news rag my embroidery 'skills'. I have a lovely machine that is just not getting used enough. I have been busy knitting squares for charity blankets. Great post Sue - thank you. Sarah.

Seeing I haven't finished tidying up after all the Christmas presents that I made ,I'm going to makeup the designs that I sewed out & didn't use into cushions for this Christmas presents for 2014.
Also use up some of the fabric I have for the roman blinds ,curtains chair covers, clothes etc then there maybe more room to move in the so called guest room

My daughter-in-law got a new job in retail so her hours are crazy. I'll be spending much more time with my two grandsons Aydin 8 yrs.old and Jake, 5 yrs. old.
I have quite a few quilt tops I need to finish. Some are several years old already. I'd like to finish them this coming year. I also started cutting out a new quilt for my newest great niece. I need to complete it before she goes to school!!!!
I like the idea of working on next years Christmas gifts now rather than wait till Dec first like I did this year. I need to prepare earlier.

I am also finishing things. Decided to start on 2014 Christmas now while I still have my ideas-not wait until October and hope to get them done. Happy New Year All

Yes!!!! And..... while all the Christmas fabric and notions are out and about in handy piles ready to be grabbed at a moment's notice.
Why tidy up all that '13 mess when it might be used and thus tidy itself..... :}

I turned 51 this year, I will try to be healthier and get more exercise. And I will try to finish my UFO's, lol! I have to many sitting around! After that I will try to use more of my stash to get the amount down to a more managable amount so I actually KNOW what I've got, LOL!!
Good luck to everyone on keeping your resolutions throught the year!

I agree, but my problem is not getting the projects done, its putting them on website. Not to bright with new cameras and do not have a fancy phone. Will try to get better. Happy 2014 All.

Fancy phones are not that great - have you noticed all of the sideways pictures? Also new cameras are much easier to use than old ones! There is plenty of help available, you just have to ask.

My "free time" is nearly nonexistent but I think your suggestions are perfect!
#1 -- I do my best...each day now.
#2 -- I really need to work on this. I will try much harder in the new year to "stitch and show"

Happy New Year!
