I am happy you can access them again. However, they were never down. Your computer tried to access the old number address of the site. (Like trying to go to Bob's house by putting in an old address into your GPS and when you get there you realize Bob has moved) Your computer needed to update its DNS. Thankfully that has happened. It usually takes about 72 hours to do that without tech help.

I had also tried to access that site on another computer yesterday, so it wasn't just my computer.

Many computers would have been affected by the change. A lot of it depends on how the computer is set up. That is why many were able to access the sites without any trouble while others could not. That can happen anytime a site updates the address or makes significant changes.

This is the first time this has ever happened to me. How would a person know if a site is changing their address or making significant changes? And why would they do that anyway? Whenever I have trouble with my computer I always blame Vista because Vista stinks but until I can afford something else I am stuck with it.

There are many reasons a site would make changes. Much like getting a new computer at home -- it is still your computer it is still your data but it is faster or it can hold more information. If you change your internet service provider -- things change. I am not sure the changes that were made to the sites. Most changes happen seamlessly. I don't know what caused trouble for so many this time. I would need a lot more information from all of those affected in order to guess. If you have issues with this in the future -- please send me a PM and I will do all I can to help you.

57620Still trying but no luck. After reading dander163's post about Adorable Applique I tried that one with the link at the bottom of this page and it didn't work either. The other 3 links are OK. I hope that they will repeat today's freebie when it is working again because it must be affecting a lot of us.

I believe it is many computers holding onto old DNS information. That information needs to be removed from your computers.As soon as I get someone willing to try the fix -- I will let you all know if it works.

You have to copy the address of the site you want to check,and put that in where google is, and click on just me. Did you do that?

Just realized that I cannot access adorable applique either. All the other sites are fine.

Cannot access using Explorer, Foxfire nor Chrome. :( Have run all scans and cleared the cache as suggested.

To those who cannot access the site, please do a virus scan. Use the free online scan from Eset or use Malwarebytes.org they have a free scan that does not interfere with your regular anti virus scan.

I've been able to download the fonts and numbers with no problem. What ever happened to the main page where all the cuties used to upload designs for us all.
How would one clear our cache?
