I have read at least 3 post asking when dbc is coming back. It seems to me people log in ,check the dbc tab still under maintenance and nothing else. Read some of the other tabs,give some advice,post a project or grab a freebie under the freebie tab,buy a membership and get all the designs. I wonder how long before I read the question again"when is dbc coming back"

I have to say Bev that it wouldn't worry me if the DBC never came back. I have enough designs to last several lifetimes. I come to Cute for the wonderful friendship, help with embroidery and all the other little bits that go with this site. Sarah.

Don't get me wrong: but I am enjoying it not being open at the moment. It is too easy to d/l freebies and not stitch too many out. Having said that, I absolutely appreciate all the free designs been given to me through DBC. Even had them digitized personally for me. That is an honour. I do spend time searching this site. And love it lots, all the links everything. Thanks Ms V you are a Wonder.

I agree with you all. I love the community here on Cute. For me DBC is a very small part of it. I love the free designs and have used many of them. My heart goes out to Miss V who has had to do countless hours with countless left to do on these designs.

I don't post very often, but I love looking at peoples projects, it gives you lots of ideas, I'm always on here, great site, keep up the good work. jean xx

Apart from not getting some of the designs posted/generously donated I am quite happy that dbc is not operational at the moment - certainly gives me more time to read and post on other tabs. I love collecting designs and don't actually stitch out that many so "no dbc" is actually giving me more time to stitch also.

they could always go back to the ones collected when dbc was up.i bet more were collected than were sewn out.

They don't seem to read the answers to the same question posted before. There's hardly a day goes by without that question, so don't hold your breath! What gets to my nerves is when they ask to have their membership extended for the time DBC is under maintenance.

Bev I know what you mean. Have to admit that I skip over this post nowerdays cause I can't hear it anylonger.
I'm just surprised how many even of the "old members" don't know the difference between the designs of the paid membership and the DBC for which Miss V give generously space on her page. This is a benefit! Every registered member can dl there so I appreciate this goodie if we get it back. There were about 400 pages of designs (if I remember right) and this will need a lot of time to go tough all of them. There were a lot of designs from the first pages whose digitizers are not around on CUTE anylonger. How to find out about the artwork?
If the need for freebies is so big they should use YOU-embroidery or some links from the freebies-tab.
