Anagha, you are trying to auto-digitize, and frankly speaking, unless you are using an extremely simple design, it doesn't work well. I have and use Janome's Digitizer Pro for my Janome 300E. When I first got it, I tried the auto-digitize feature, and was just astounded at the bad results. Countless unneeded jump stitches, one eye done in weave, the other done in satin stitch, etc. Auto digitizing seems to be a selling feature of a lot of different embroidery digitizing programs, but like anything that sounds too good to be true, it is! If you want good digitized designs, you have to do them manually, no matter what artwork you are using. There are shortcuts you can use, and it gets easier with time, but it is a learning process. You not only have to learn the computer program, but how the thread will push and pull the fabric, the best way to path the various sections of the design, etc. You need lessons for this, whether from a dealer or on video, or from another digitizer. And I hate to say this, but unless I am mistaken, Customizer is just that, a program you can use to customize existing designs, it isn't meant to be a program to digitize original designs. Unless Janome came out with something new and renamed it, then, I'm wrong. But I thought Janome's latest digitizing program was MBX. If you got this program from a dealer, perhaps you should take it back and ask what it will really do, and ask for lessons on it. If you got it off of eBay or somewhere, I'm afraid you should have done more research on digitizing programs before you spent the money. You'll never be really happy with the results of auto-digitizing, to get good quality you need to do the digitizing manually. Sorry, and good luck, Marji
I am in total agreement with Sue and Rescuer...you won't get very good results with autodigitizing...if you are going to do it...it is best to use Wmf (Vector) files as they work the best...not still the results are probably not the best...manual digitizing is the key to good design quality...
I think Sue may be right.
WMF files are very simple pictures and easier for software to "see" the colors. They are also some of the easiest to auto-digitize, but any auto-digitizing will look poor in quality.
Have a look at the link. It will show the difference between digitizing methods.
Have you tried JPEG? What does the program recommend? Sometimes I get pretty good results with Brother and JPEG.
That sounds as if you are autodigitising. I'm afraid it doesn't produce quality designs. You will need to digitise manually for good results. I'm not familiar with the Janome software, but may here use it so good advice should be on its way soon!
Not sure what you mean about using bmp or wmf. Are you starting with pictures and trying to convert them to jef? You must start with a format like hus or pes or some other machine format to be able to convert. Hugs. Nan
okey..
as i am begineer ..i stared with simple way..
bur will start doing it manual..
thank you..
