wow, It sure is a lot of material :) Well at least this can keep you warm in winter. LOL
Now you have batting for LOTS of items, especially quilts! I think you got a great deal for $40!! LOL I get a smile and chuckle, as I envision the roll expanding in front of you!!
Hugs, Angel
yes it did just that i thought omg Where do i put this??So you can keep smiling as its still stuck in the corner lol hugs
Just how many chairs does your cousin repair a year? Looks like this roll of batting will cover all her needs for a few years to come.At least you can use some of the Velcro to hold it together and keep it neat and rolled up tidy. Just hope there is enough room under her bed to store it But what a wonderful useful got you have .for her
Hugs annnie
got this the wrong way around.. i thought YOU had purchased it FOR your cousin,
OH my I can see a chenille vest padded with some of the batting to keep you warm with a matching pull on hat and a pair of mitts.
This will deffinately keep you busy for a while, hope you have enough fabric & thread to see you through.
I had images of the Postman trying to deliver this parcel to your home! I imagined it would have taken up most of the space in his van! Seven feet tall - that is enormous Carolyn. I like the idea of storing it in an attic, if you have one, or under a bed! Love Chris
P.S. Knowing you I am sure this will get used up very quickly.
it was shurk with a vacuum pack so it didn't take up much room but it expanded when i took the plastic wrap off lol
You may need some more fabric to handle that batting. You do need thick quilts up there to stay warm! It'll be gone and you will think, well that wasn't too much! Happy Stitchin!
OMG, are you going to make a mattress...LOL! You should be set for awhile!
Great to have and I love the snowman and under mattress ideas!!! Dolly
You could tie ribbon real tight around and make it into a snowman.
That's a lot of fluff! Great deal!
Huggers and ***
Wowwie this is load of quilts. guess your new cutter will get the works this winter. I am giggling over the size of this and thinking of all the things you can get tied down with that much Velcro. Last year you scarfed up the winter with your scarfs and looks like this one will be quilted. Wow,wow, wow!
Like all the ideas and you could cut to size of a mattress and put between the mattress and box-springs and knowing that you live in the extreme cold zone you could use it for insulation. lol That's a lot.
Lets just see how long it takes you to use it all up?? Let us know.
If you have to store it, put some anti-bug/moth stuff with it, or you may have the odd nest of unwanted visitors. Or maybe it gets too cold in Canada for them?
Well it gets to cold for sure i have only seen one mouse here in my 26 years its just to cold lol
I love it! Knowing how quickly you work, I think you will be reducing it in size week by week. Congrats on the deal. We all wish we could have such great deals.
Got an attic? Take off a some to work with, and store it there until you need another large piece. I can walk in my attic, so you know I got 'stuff' up there-LOL...If I lived close, now that's another thing.......LOL
Its 7 feet tall !!lol i got it in the corner but i guess i will put it on the spare single bed and cover it up lol
LOL You could make a spare single bed out of it! That is quite a lot. It is true that you work so fast ...it will be gone in no time at all.
Did you order super size.? That should last you the winter.
that is a big roll but sounds like a great purchase. give it a disguise !
This time of year, sprinkle glitter on it and hang ornnaments, packages beneath, put a 4 color light wheel in the corner and you're all decorated for Christmas.
Well Carolyn you certainly do have a large roll there, do you have a spare corner (if like me..no) or aspare bed one of these might do untill it,s a wee bit smaller...good luck and happy sewing. marian
