Just looking at these again there sewwwwwwww awesome hugs
Oh isn't that cute! I could see a velvet ITH stockng with a fake fur or stitched on balboa.
I had first thought velveteen and fur, but I am going to make 24 and don't have a lot of time to get real fancy and they would need to be of a washable fabric in case of accidents.
They look very nice, I wish I could knit but I am a wanna be knitter. lol!
I wish I could knit as well...I mean fancy knitting, I can do simple patterns, but nothing like these. I decided to make some for the kids, with embroidery.
Those are so cute. I love to knit, but don't know about doing 20 plus. Nice idea for a winter project for next Christmas,
I have decided to make them some, but done in embroidery only...so much quicker and easier... Will post a picture when I am done...
Oh I love this jerri, great gift for those who have everything and monogrammed they would look lovely on the xmas table,
hugs

go to a second hand store and buy a couple of sweaters and just cut the shape and add the white fur later...super easy!!!!
That would be a good idea, but I don't have a car and no second hand stores around my area. I would want a nice red or green Christmas colour. Thank you for your help.
Beautiful cables and neat idea for a Christmas table. Looked at the link and the baby socks with an added white cuff would be a good substitute. How many was she wanting you to make?
She was wanting 20. Not going to happen for this year. I haven't enough time...
I can't knit, but I'm a heck of good GOOGLER....
Way to go Jerrilyn. I will have to keep a look out for an old sweater like this. Wish my Googler worked as well as yours. Funny that is what I always call it to.. something in our name maybe?? Jerrilyn/Jerrill to funny
Oh that is sew cute. Maybe go to the thrift store and find a sweater to use. They could be used for tree decorations also by stuffing them then add some lace at the top. Put one on as part of the gift wrap on a present too.
If you could find old sweaters, like this pattern, you could cut up and make these. these are so neat!
Very clever idea also. I just knew it would spark some interest. I hope some cuties try it either in knit or their own version..Hugs
