I'm wondering if anyone has for sale a 150 x 150 mm (6" x 6") Do It All Hoop to suit the Husqvarna Viking Designer II embroidery machine, preferably one they no longer have use for.

My 'local' dealer, who is a six hour drive away, told me that she thinks she can still order them as they are still listed, but most people want the bigger hoops these days. I've been wanting the 6x6 hoop for about two years now, gave up hunting for a while and I've started searching again.

There are some lovely designs just a bit bigger than the 4x4 size and I don't want to resize them but I do waste stabiliser if I use the large, 240 x 150 mm, hoop to stitch them out.
Actually I sew or stick old bits of stabiliser together to make do another turn but I still have my heart set on the smaller hoop.

Hi Marji - I'm going to have some fun when these new hoops come in. I'm very grateful that I gained some very useful information following the suggestions in the answers - I decided to buy from a dealer instead of joining the Sew It's For Sale yahoo group, though, because I put off buying the hoop/s two years ago and thought that if I didn't buy now it could be another two years before I caught up with myself again..... or never!

I have now purchased a Do All Quilters Hoop as well as the 130x180 Hoop from sewingworld.co.uk.
A sincere Thankyou to all those people who took the time to send information that helped me out.
I am now well set up to stitch out all those beautiful designs that Miss Veronika offers periodically that need just a tad larger hoop than the 4x4.

You will like the Do All Quilters Hoop. I also like the 200x200 hoop for quilting. The Viking 120x120 is also a nice size and it works with those designs that are just a bit larger than 4x4 inches.

Thankyou 'clawton' - I'm not sure if the 120x120 is compatible with the DesignerII but it is around the size that I originally wanted. I am now set up for some grand fun.

Join the yahoo group Sew Its For Sale and post a message in search of. I have both bought and sold through this group and not had any problems. Once you make contact with someone, it is just between you two. The group is only the forum to find/sell unwanted items. Hugs. Nan W
