Hi gals and guys, I wanted to share my friend's picture of her and her dogs. I've known Sue for over 30 years and she is now living in Sydney- she used to live up here in Newcastle. We had our 3rd children due at the same time, but Sue went early with James and I went over with Amy.

Sue was a veterinary nurse for over 20 years and is now a "people nurse", but, her biggest love is her dogs! This was from the Sydney Daily Telegraph on Tuesday 8th October 2013. The Newfoundland is Barney, the 6 Sharpeis are from her left (light coloured ones) Jake with his face turned away, George looking to the side. Next to Barney is Mishka, then Ebony and Maddy looking at Sue's leg. Sue told me last week she has bought a new brown Newfoundland, as Barney is not expected to live too much longer as he is on Chemotherapy. Her other beautiful Newfoundland Sophie was put down on Easter Sunday, she was nearly 10. Unfortunately these dogs have lots of hip dysplasia problems. They have spent thousands on these animals, but they are worth it. Love Chris

P.S. Sue has been coming to my Christmas ladies lunches for over 25 years!

I love the picture with the dogs - especially the newfoundlands.
We have two newfoundlands in our family, too. I hope you like them, too.

WoW, they are beautiful. Sue throughout the time I've know her has had many dogs. She used to have St. Bernards too. They were like your Newfies above, black and white. Her latest Newfies however, have been black. Thanks for sharing your beauties. Love Chris

I am watching the news now and they just showed a story about a dog eating the owner's cash. I thought it funy given the headline of your article! Those are beautiful dogs and Sue looks wonderful!

Thanks Chris, now that would be a tale! Having all those dogs keeps her fit, she does agility training with a couple of the Sharpeis too! Love Chris

Thanks Carolyn, Sue is one in a million! My other dear friend who passed away 2 years ago was also one of my ladies at my luncheon. Her daughter Therese takes all the gorgeous photos of Amy's family. We are going out tomorrow to have some piccies taken, hopefully the weather won't be too hot! We've had dreadful bushfires surrounding us here at Lake Macquarie. Love Chris
