Finally I finished a knitted sweater for Marie, the one of my twin daughters who spends one year volunteering in a college (St. Kevin's in Oamaru) in New Zealand. She wanted it so much - maybe something personal by Mama?

Nice sweater, I bet not so easy to sew with all those pattern involved. I love the real type of sweaters, not those with "artifical theard" that you see everywhere in the shops. You daughter will love it !

Good job. I bet this sweater was fun to knit and not boring. I am sure your daughter will love it. I haven't done much knitting lately, but looking at this makes me want to start again.

Yes it was real fun to knit it and really not boring. Now I'll have to start another sweater for the twin sister :-) I think knitting is some kind of addiction too but it's easier to do if you are traveling than embroidering and sewing :-)

Thank you so much for your kind comments! Yes, the pattern is really nice and I loved knitting it - it is not so boring. Do you know I stored the wool for more than 20 years in a box along with other boxes of wool and I am happy I now could use it. Tomorrow we will leave for a holiday in
Tuscany - my eldest daughter, married to an Italian born. two of the
grandsons, my DH and me and I am going to start a slightly different
knitting project for Monique the other twin; she wants it in grey -
