Stella, I do understand about small towns and the cost of living. I'm so glad you found this site. WELCOME!
I have taken some gentle worn clothing and repurposed it for embroidery. Purses may be made from some of the clothing and adding a machine embroidery design completes it. Look at the things around you and you may come up with many new items to embroider.

From one Stella to another I do hope you enjoy coming here as much as I do. The members are all very helpful and I for one have learned to lean on their shoulders from time to time. I call it my new lease on life. I am in Texas. Stella

Stella, I am so glad you are getting help from the Cuties to enjoy the machine embroidery, sewing and crafts! This is a great talented group! I have lived in the country most of my life, and I enjoy the peace and quiet of nature all around me. I am not far from the hustle and bustle of the city and shops, but far enough to have a feeling of seclusion and privacy to relax and unwind, as I go about each day.
Hugs, Angel

I am glad you pop in and keep us updated. Enjoy where you are. I miss the peace and quiet and less traffic of the countryside. But as a design in Embroidery Library says, 'Bloom Where You are Planted".
