30-09-2013 - Hi, I just got an email which looked like it comes from Cute saying free gift etc - certainly looked like a real one but te URL goes somewhere else and my virus program (Kaspersky) said it had something in it and it was a BIG no, no! anyone else had the same type of email? The picture for the free gift is a girl in pink.

Thank you for informing. I send my newsletters with YMLP's ( YourMailingListProvider ) http://www.ymlp.com. I'll contact with them and hope I'll be able to provide additional details for this.
Sincerely,
Veronika B.

Thanks - sometimes things like this remind you that an antivirus program is needed! Shame some people just like to cause trouble.

I didn't have a problem with it. Sometimes anti-virus software is so sensitive. I've had problems with other embroidery sites but not any of the Cute family.

I didn't click on my email but I got the same one. Veronika always sends us notices like that. I will send her a message about the problem.

The picture is real and from Cute. The design is available here and does not include the malicious bit. I checked the link and my software also warned...but the design itself is perfectly fine.

I will let Ms. Veronika know.
You can access the free design here by clicking on the top of the page where it says "Cute Embroidery" and use the link on that page.
