This is the finished road quilt for my grandsons 3rd birthday. I hope that he plays with it for a long time. DH says he will pass it to his boys too. Who knows? I made sure to match the fabrics to the building so the church has a parking lot all around it with woods in the back. The school is surrounded by children playing The barn has a creek with pussy willows growing in it. & Grayson's house is surrounded by dogs & cars & trees. Each block connects with the chartreuse & the cobblestone driveway. It was a lot of fun to make & I did it for the most part kind of like quilt as you go.

Thank you all so much. We had a bad storm yesterday so was without power for a time. Its funny what you can do with out hydro. Chores & more Chores......................I love hydro!!!!!! Hugs & ********** to all

This is a wonderful road quilt for the little guy to play on. Like how you placed the house blocks facing in like on a city street and thought out each block with fabric patterns he can relate to.

pieced them together in one inch increments then added a 3 inch road border to each side of the middle. thanks Toogie
