Well I am trying to make my first mug rug ITH and the second step I had to redo twice, talk about a blonde moment or is that a grey moment...well hopefully it will turn out ok, so will put it up here later on ok....keep me to this promise cuties....hugs Kezza.

Annoying when we have days like that. I haven't had too many fortunately but when it does happen I get really cranky with myself.

Sometimes this can be challenging depending upon who has digitized the mug rug...especially if you are talking about the ones with the "faux binding" look...some are applique...some are reverse applique...you need to be careful where and what you are cutting away...It's a bugger to find out that you cut away the outside and should have cut out the inside...or vice versa...ask me how I know!!!

We are so used to the applique method, I can understand what can happens when it is digitised as reverse applique and routine takes over. Made me smile though. As my grandma used to say: even the best knitters drop a stitch now and again. :)

Keep trying. It is a different way of doing mug rugs, The effort will be worth it.

I kept trying and I am real happy with the finished project. Now I am excited to do more and all sorts of different shapes and designs on them...
