I want to offer my most sincere apologies to all our Aussie cuties for the horrible tragedy of their citizen, Christopher Lane, who came to our country to play baseball and get an education. He was brutally murdered, shot in the back, by thugs. It was so senseless, and such a sign of our troubled times in the US. Most of our people are wonderful, loving people, but we have a huge problem with violence like this. I am just so sorry. Jan

These tragedies are so senseless. My heart to goes out to our Auzzie family. I was in China when the Boston Massacre occurred and I felt the need to apologize to my Chinese students over the death of one of theirs. It was heart wrenching as is this. My deepest sympathies.

Yes, it is a pity that some people do not value life. Violence is so senseless and the world in in turmoil in lots of places. We can only put our trust in God to keep us safe. Keep well and a hug for you.

I agree sincerely with your comment, Jan. I have been heartsick, since I heard of this senseless tragedy. My heart goes out to Christopher's family and friends. Such a great loss of a talented young man, who had so much to offer this world. His family has my deepest sympathy, as I grieve with them.

Yes Jan, it was tragic. I couldn't believe it when I saw the news and as you say violence is such a huge part of today's culture. We have it here as well, there are a lot of shootings in Sydney recently and the Police are doing their utmost to quell it. Thanks for your apologies. I know the parents would be so thankful to hear of all the outpouring of grief from the citizens of the United States of America. Love and blessings Chris

So sad. My heart goes out to the family and friends of this young man, but also to the families of those that did this to him. None of their lives will ever be the same.
Hugs Jerri

A sad day for all of us. He was striving to be something great. His parents should be proud of the young man they raised.
