I see in the DBC that Christmas designs are being brought up to the top already.... Just the thought of winter and that time of the year right now make me cringe... I'm not ready for it yet! lol

Perhaps we could dwell in summer and then fall a bit first? Back to School? Halloween? Thanksgiving? Advent? I believe in getting all the goody out of each season of life. Also, I haven't been so long-term humid and hot that I am ready to face another bone-chilled winter. I still remember how I longed for the warmth of May-June-July-August-Sept.-Oct. in Jan.-Feb. Blessings.

I already have seen halloween candy in the grocery stores. I wish we could get through one holiday at a time rather than having one with the trappings for another 3 months down the road. But I confess, I am 1/2 way through 8 sets of coasters that are Christmas presents.

You know in Newcastle on this morning's radio station 2NURFM it was said that a department store had already taken out its Christmas trees! They are not decorated as yet, but gosh - it's way too early. I wish they would leave all that marketing stuff till the beginning of November. I haven't even thought about Christmas presents yet, but I have made my Christmas ladies luncheon things. I need to do those things early as they are time consuming. Love Chris

I am so with you on that one. We have had 2 mild winters in a row. I think our monsoon is going to freeze and we may have winter early.
