Bookcovers.

I am working on items for an upcoming charity market. And started bookcovers again as the notebooks are cheap and sell well at a nice price.
The pictures are a bit bleached out by the flash. They are made from an old remnant of stretchy fabric, stabilised with iron-on vilene. The one on the left has my daisy design on it. On the second I used an old silk flower, stitched that on with the sewing machine, then I hooped it and added the flower centre, taken from one design and the stem, taken from the daisy design and enlarged it, rotated, skewed etc. till I had what I wanted.

I love your design. Daisies are in my top ten. I like the silk flower idea as well just might have a go at it some time.

Lovely floral designs. That is a great idea to use a silk flower as the foundation for the rest of your flower design. Looks wonderful, and good luck with the Charity Market!
