Hi I need some prayer for another kitten. The animal control officer brought her to me Thursday. SHe has a spinal injury from abuse. Her back legs drag and the tail is broken. She is on meds and has had shots at the vets. The kitten is about 8 weeks old. She may have to have her tail removed. We are hoping for her to regain the use of her rear legs. So sad people can do this to animals. It makes me so mad . She is safe now with me and getting excellent care. Poor thing is terrified.

I will keep you informed how she is doing.

Thanks much Suzanne

Always prayers and good wishes for kittens, Suzanne, and for the wonderful people who care for these lost little ones. Hopefully, because she's so young, the tail will heal, and when the spinal injury gets better, she'll be able to use those back legs, too! Your gentle touch will communicate LOVE to her, and she'll come to trust you, and loving touch does as much to heal as medicine, sometimes. Thank Heaven you have the ability (courage, heart) to help her, and you have vets to work with & help also. Praise God for good people everywhere. And people who abuse animals and children should have exactly the same thing done to them as they did to their victims. Immediately, and with no appeal. And then neutered so they can't reproduce more evil people like themselves. And yes, I'm perfectly serious. Keep taking care of the little ones, loving hugs, Marji

I feel the same way. It is a good thing I am not the police or they would be dealt with like they do onto others. I am oraying she is OK and heals. Thank you !Suzanne

it's awful some people hate animals that much they even injure them . Poor kitten, I hope she will improve and does not have so much pain anymore. It will take time to recover and to trust people again I suppose. Thankfully she has a safe place with you now, and she will learn people can be kind and loving too. Please give us an update when you can. My prayers and hugs for this poor baby.

The human race - HOW can anybody abuse a kitten - or any animal. It makes me sick to my stomach. Please keep us informed on her progress. My wonderful pekingese came from an animal welfare, with broken jaw and in a terrible state. Mushu is now getting on in years but what pleasure he has given me. Thank you for taking the kitten in to your home. Hugs Sarah.

He looks very imperial, Sarah and doesn't look at all getting on in years. Obviously the result of good care and a loving home. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Dennis and Suzanne. The picture was taken a few years ago. Mushu is still very handsome but age is taking it's toll as he now has a bit of arthritics.

How terrible. Really makes you wonder about people. Someone dropped 2 tiny kittens in our yard Before I came to NY. They barely had their eyes open when we found them. My daughter has been bottle feeding them. We think Bubba J may have eaten some of their kitten chow and that triggered his illness along with the stress of me being away. Anyway your prayers have helped Bubba get better. My husband is seeing improvement in him everyday. I will certain say some prayers for this poor little kitten. It's just heart breaking isn't it. But I guess God knows where to send these little creatures so that they will be cared for. Bless you, Susan

Hi Suzanne. Sadly, there are amongst us, evil excuses for human beings who have no moral standards what so ever. This is not about pet owners who have fallen on bad times and cannot afford to feed their pets or have them treated for ailments, but people who have no right to be considered as members of society. The one saving grace is that society has good people like you who take on and care for these poor creatures, and hopefully return them to truly loving homes. Keep up the wonderful work that you do.

So true! I wish there were more people out there like my best friend said give an hour of their time to cities or towns and the world would be a better place. Thanks Suzanne
