Me again. I need more input and ideas...A neighbor just gave me about 20 pieces of very, very, fine linen. The pieces are an assortment of smallish sizes ranging from 12" x 12" to maybe 18" x 40". These are see through fine and off white. I was thinking of dying them, maybe.. . I really am wondering what to do with them. Any ideas?

Thanks again, Nadyne

Special table runners to dress up a solid color table cloth. "Sew Beautiful Magazine" has an interesting vest that was made out of cotton netting, but the linen would be great for it also. The embroidery could be same color as the linen or different colors. I just have to find some cotton netting to purchase.
Pictures please of the items that you make.

Another thought, if you use the 12 x12 as wedding date & names embroidered on it and frame it. Use the brides colors as possible backing within the frame. Birth announcements?
Sorry, I just kept going, but there are so many possibilities.

If you make your own jams this sounds wonderful for jam pot covers.

Lucky you! How about handkerchiefs or the smaller squares?

That would work for the smaller ones but I am still in a quandary as to the larger ones. Thanks.
