Good morning Dennis,
You know me a bit too well me thinks!!!! I was sitting here having my porridge and listening to the 8.00am news and just thinking about how wonderful our newest young batsmen did.
Lo and behold I come on here and you are praising his achievements too. I am so pleased he got 98 off just 101 balls (would have been nice to get to 100) and is the first person in our history batting at the eleventh position to do that. Early days yet, and of course there will be quite a few more tests too.
I'm thrilled for the British Lions on the other hand - not a rugby fan, but wow! what an achievement. Your boys are the best.
Off to do some cleaning. Then taking Mum to a local concert at midday. Have a great weekend. Love Chris
Mrs. P!! I can hear you he he-ing from here. Now stop it!!!!!
Here is the site to see!
Ofcourse at the other side of the pond we are rather thrilled lol. Than Andy Murray to win the tennis too. What a year!
Well, of course, being the gentleman I was not going to mention anything about The Ashes or The British & Irish Lions (ooooops, I wasn't going to mention that either....) but it would be rude of me to ignore a post from my good friend, Mrs. P.
It is early days yet and England didn't exactly bat well either. The Aussie middle-order batsmen may very well play a blinder..............or they may drag Ricki out of the commentry box. Mind you, seeing how the weather is developing (contrary to the expertise of our £billion funded weather bureau), this first test could end up a complete waste of time for all of us!!
